Welcome
to the the first edition of the UKFORUMs Newsletter!
|
The purpose of the UKFORUMs Newsletter is to bring you the latest
information about our family of CompuServe forums. In it we'll try and give you a small taste of what is going on in the
Forums, and we'll highlight some files and message threads from each Forum.
The UKFORUMs are the number one place for UK
CompuServe members to meet and discuss any topic that is of interest
to them. This is also the place for CompuServe members in other
countries to find answers to questions on UK specific matters.
Members from other countries will find a warm welcome awaiting them
from all on the UKFORUMs and we look forward to hearing from you
wherever you are.

A
Welcome from our Forum Founders
|
Hi, Steve Manners and Andy Johnson here! We founded the UKFORUMs group
about 10 years ago now, and we have watched it grow to a group of 10 Forums.
These Forums exist for their members, and the tremendous quality of the
membership of these Forums over the years has made them very worthwhile for
all involved. If you seek to make some new friends online, some hard to find information,
or just a place to relax, you should find the UKFORUMs fit the bill.
For those who are able to make the trip we have the annual UKFORUMs BBQ on
the 30th of July, and details are in this newsletter. We hope to see you
there and hope all who attend have a great day out - there is even a band
this year, and we expect TV actor Lew Lewis to again be drawing the raffle
etc etc. It is a relaxing social day, bring a few friends, have a great
meal, and relax in good company. Have a great Summer!
Steve and Andy.
